Chatting Over Coffee

When should I show up?

Our services are at 10 AM on Sunday mornings. Service features programs for infants and children all the way through 5th grade. Middle school and High school students are engaged through teaching within the main service as well as participating in ministry. Know that students have a student service (Avalanche Student Ministries) Wednesdays at 7PM @ FWC.

So that you won’t feel rushed, we do recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the service so that you have time to drop off your kids (0-5th grade) at their programs and make your way into to the worship center. You can preregister your child in our children's check-in system to

help with the Sunday morning shuffle! (preregister here)

What should I wear?

Our services are for you, so come dressed however you feel most comfortable. We’re thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. Dressed up or dressed down, we have a variety of styles at our services.

How do I get there?

We are located 2 blocks west of the Judicial building that's on South 2nd Street.

What can I expect?

We are committed to a creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God’s truth. Our format is accessible to anyone, no matter where they are on their life’s journey. This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have live, upbeat worship, as well as intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for some, that means singing, clapping, and raising their hands; for others, it means quietly reflecting on the words. At Family Worship Center, you’re welcome to do what comes from the heart in praise to God.

What will the message be like?

In every service, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message based on Scripture that will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong Biblical foundation.

Do I have to give a donation?

Each week, there is time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings, but as a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for the work he is doing in their lives and gives Family Worship Center the means to reach more people for Christ in the future. If you feel as though you want to give, feel free. God loves the cheerful giver!

Communion

We celebrate communion together on designated Sunday morning services. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer as long as they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread we share represent the life He gave up so our sins could be forgiven.

Are there kids programs available?

Family Worship Center offers interactive, age-appropriate programs for your kids to enjoy while you are attending services in the worship center. From infant to 6th grade, we have a program that builds your child’s relationship with Jesus Christ and the FWC community!
